This project is run by volunteers, so replies are not instant — but every message is read, and corrections are acted on quickly. The form below reaches us directly.

Good reasons to write
- A record looks wrong — a misidentified species, or a pin in the wrong place. These get fixed fastest and are the most useful thing you can send.
- You want a sighting or a photograph you submitted taken down. Include roughly when and where you logged it so we can find it.
- You run a conservation group, reserve or school and want to use the data, or to have a site added.
- You are a researcher and need the dataset in a form the open export does not cover.
- Something on the site is broken, unreadable, or unclear in your language.
What helps
If you are reporting a problem with a record, the place name and the approximate date are usually enough to identify it. If it is a bug, telling us which page and which device you were on makes the difference between a fix and a guess.
One thing we cannot do: records that came from iNaturalist belong to that platform. We can stop showing our copy, but the original has to be changed where it was published.
